Math

Students are currently learning how to multiply and divide using
place value understanding.
Focus is on learning concepts rather than memorizing formulas. They must have fluency with their multiplication facts in order to get full benefit of instruction.

The Arts
Being an art school has
allowed us many
opportunities to study
different art forms. In
Room 1, we have integrated the arts into each content area. We will study
American history and make dioramas depicting
a scene inspired by
Francis Scott Key.
We will learn print making and during Arts Wheel.
Currently, we are rehearsing for our play with the talented Mrs. Tanzman. Our drama production will be presented before Winter break.
